In April 1895, the Qing government built the Jinlu Railway, and at the end of the year, the Fengtai Railway Station was built. In 1909, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway was introduced into Fengtai Station, which became the intersection of three main railway lines. Over the past hundred years, Fengtai Station has witnessed the development of China’s railway. Twelve years after the end of the old Fengtai station’s passenger service in 2010, the new Fengtai Station continues to provide passengers with more convenient services, starting from now on.
