2021年4月26号下午2时起，陇海铁路西安站封锁区间，进行新线路的拨接工作。陇海铁路的正线将由西安老站移至新建的西安火车站.

From 2:00 pm on April 26, 2021, Xi’an Station of Longhai Railway cease to provide passenger services–signifiying its retirement. The main line of the Longhai Railway will be moved from the old Xi’an station to the new Xi’an railway station.

下午7时，拨接工作完成。新西安站北高架站房与4-6高站台正式启用.

At 7:00 pm, the transformation work from the old station to the new one was completed. New Xi’an Station’s North Building and Platform 4-6 are officially opened.

同时，老西安站仅存的1-3号站台与进站天桥将永久性关闭并进行拆除翻新工作

At the same time, the only remaining platforms 1-3 of the old Xi’an Station and the incoming overpass will be permanently closed and will be demolished and refurbished.

这座运行了35年的老站，随着时间的流逝，也将永远地离开

This old station, which has been in operation for 35 years, will also leave forever with the passage of time.

在老站即将关闭的最后一天，我特地前往这里最后看一看老站的面貌

On the last day of the closing of the old station, I went here to have a last look.

老站里的大屏幕已经更换，候车室也已经翻新.

The big screen in the old station has been replaced and the waiting room has been refurbished.

唯一熟悉的还是那一声开始检票的报站

The only thing that is familiar is the voice broadcast that starts the ticket check.

站台上又响起经典的广播：“您就要离开古城西安了，祝您旅途愉快，一路平安！”

The classic broadcast sounded again on the platform: “You are about to leave the ancient city of Xi’an. I wish you a pleasant journey and a safe journey!”

乘客们依旧是等待车辆停稳后，才能离开候车室到站台乘车.

Passengers still wait for the vehicle to stop before leaving the waiting room to get on the platform.

上到二站台。这里是老站唯一能看到两侧停车的站台

I am on the second platform. This is the only platform in the old station where you can see the trains on both sides.

熙熙攘攘的人们和来来往往的火车是这里应该有的样子.

Bustling with people and trains coming and going is what it should be like here

但是这样的场面，在几个月后就将成为历史.

But such a scene, in a few months, will be history.
